I’m having the best time working on this new project from The Creatives Club! It’s called 52 Weeks of Me and Suzanna has really done a great job with this one. Let me walk you through my first week, the theme of which was what was going on for you currently. In my life, the biggest thing was trying to get our current home prepped for sale so you’ll see that come up a bit!
First up is the cover page. This was a lot of fun to create. I pulled quite a bit from my stash to make this one. The paper is from a Michaels’ paper pack, cut down to 6×8”, then I added some older American Crafts alphas to create the title. From there, I pulled out a bunch of my cute Everyday Explorers stamps (Everyday Icons and All the Paper) to add a bit of fun without a lot of color. From there, I grabbed that flag from an Elle’s Studio kit (which is sadly sold out), layered a chipboard sticker from Studio Calico over top, added a tiny star and we were done!
Next up is this half page. The front includes the theme of the week (a card from In a Creative Bubble, along with a stamp from Studio Calico) as well as the week number (card, sticker and stamp from Elle’s Studio.)
The back side of the half page includes a card cut from some Echo Park Dots and Stripes paper and another card from In a Creative Bubble with everything that was going on July 2nd!
Finally, I have this page which includes two selfies and a wrap-up at the end of the week. The stickers on the selfies are from Elle’s Studio and the cards on the bottom were included with this month’s Documenter workshop at Studio Calico.
So that’s week one for me! I’ve just started working on week two so expect to see that around this time next week! Until next time, happy crafting!
