This year, I was lucky enough to go to PAX Prime in Seattle. This is the first time I’d gone in several years, my first (other than my actual first time!) that I wasn’t working and the first I’d been a scrapbooker for. I spent a lot of my time there looking for cute little items I could grab to remind me of the places and people I’d seen and making sure I didn’t let my forgetfulness get in the way of later memory keeping.
Once I got home, I pulled out all of the things I’d kept along with my stash of October Afternoon’s Travel Girl. To my surprise, I had a bunch of the Doo-dads and Tidbits (that’s what they’re called!) but only one piece of 12×12 paper. I did have the 8×8 stack though, so that would do just fine. As long as I have that and my trusty Lawn Fawn stitched journaling card dies, I can deal with pretty much any project!
The logo on the first page was cut using my Silhouette Cameo. I grabbed a picture online of the logo and using their included program, I was able to make a cut file and cut it out of some colored card stock I had in similar tones to the Travel Girl papers.
The boarding pass card is actually a multilayer card I posted on Instagram:
If you have any questions about how I did any of this, please feel free to comment below and ask questions! I’ll be back with the final two days (Monday and Tuesday) along with a special girl’s night out trip soon!
