I don’t think I could have gotten it better if I had planned it, but shortly before Valentine’s Day, Nintendo announced the newest Eevee evolution! My husband is a big fan of Eevee so I took the opportunity to center the card around this piece of fan art by crayon-chewer. After printing it on some photo paper, I ran it through my beloved Cameo using one of the hearts from this 11 hearts cut file. Since it was such a large element, I tacked it down but gave myself room around the edges.
Next came the letters which are my well loved pink glitter MSC letters they released for Valentine’s Day. Captured heads a little up toward the end. This was the day I decided that cold brew coffee was a little too much for me in the morning! Shaky hands means letters head up a bit… after that, I printed the Pokeball from a vector I found online. The heart sticker is from a pack I got in a recent Olive Box, but you can get very similar ones here from Paper Glitter. Lastly, I loaded up my stamp with ink, stamped it on a Martha Stewart for Avery label and tucked it under the big heart. By the way, the stamp is also from Paper Glitter and I used the preview she sent me as my signature for this blog. I love it!
All together, it was solid, but there was something lacking. That upper right corner looked really bare. Luckily, the day before, my Studio Calico order from January had arrived and contained within was a LOT of regular width glitter tape from American Crafts. In order from top, I have powder, taffy and marine.
