Hi everyone! Carolee here with cute tag mini summer album using the Fairytale Club’s Sweet! collection and my Instax Share. This came together so easily and is great for a gift for a friend or just a nice little thing to carry with you when you need a smile.
The tags themselves were easy peasy! I grabbed a couple of dies from a Bo Bunny set, found my favorite papers and then just cut them out using my Sizzix machine. I cut some from patterned paper, as well as just plain white cardstock and vellum.
First up is this “Hello Summer” tag. I put the hello on some foam tape to add a bit of dimension to the tag. After that, I added the summer and ice pops with regular adhesive for an easy cover.
Next up is the Summer To Do list. Super obvious, right? I’m happy to say that I’ve managed to check all of these off! This is just an ephemera piece popped up on some foam tape.
My third spot is the one I used the vellum with. I love this graphic pattern but it can be a bit busy. The vellum on top (attached with some ATG adhesive) helps tone it down enough that you can build on it. I added the fabulous first, then used the word stickers and labels to add a bit more context and white. Lastly, I used foam dots to pop up the sunglasses. I love the gold foil on the lenses!
I’d been saving the unicorn die cut for a special occasion and this was it! I layered the white paper tag on top and then flicked a bit of pink mica spray on top. After that, I put the unicorn on some foam tape, matted the word stickers on a bit of paper and added them to the tag.
For the last card, I wanted to use the wood veneer hearts so I added those, then matted more word stickers. I like the idea of “always remember summertime happiness” so I’m glad I was able to make it. When we were kids, summers lasted forever but now as adults, they fly by! It’s almost September for crying out loud! It’s good to take the time to remember the good times that is summer!
Thanks for checking out my album, I hope you liked it! The Sweet kit is still available to purchase so if you like it, head over to the store and get your own! Until next time, happy crafting!
