Happy Friday! Though you wouldn’t know it here in Los Angeles (we’re still in the mid-70s F here!), it’s almost Halloween time. We went yesterday to get costumes for the dogs, mine’s still in my head and I still need to fish my other stuff out from storage. Still running a bit behind from the summer downtime 🙂
Last night though, I wanted to sit down and make a card for a friend of many years. I was shipping her a few things this week and thought, why not send along a nice card to go with? With the holiday right around the corner, Halloween seemed the perfect theme.
This was a super easy card because I’d taken the few minutes online and grabbed a bunch of October Afternoon’s Witch Hazel collection from Ebay and other sources now that it’s out of print. The card base is a kraft base from Michael’s. After that I cut down an 8×8 piece of paper to use as a mat. After that, it was just adding all the little bits and bobs. October Afternoon has really turned me on to buttons. I never used them before the PAX spread and now I can’t get enough!
